Dear Members,
The Incorporated Societies Act 2022 requires Waitakere Cricket Club to adopt a new constitution and re-register by 5th April 2026. The Club’s existing rules date back to 1969 so this is a good opportunity to modernise the Club’s rules as well.
New Zealand Cricket provided clubs with a template constitution, and the Board has prepared a draft new constitution using that template and carrying over the existing purposes of the Club.
The Board invites all members to consider the draft new constitution and accompanying summary and provide feedback by Wednesday 18th February 2026.
